American Idol

If you are a Seacoaster, and you watched American Idol tonight to the very end, then you caught a glimpse of someone very familiar in the preview for next week's show. He was referred to as "found new talent in Birmingham". That's right, our worship leader Chris Sligh will be on American Idol next Tuesday night. I have not talked about it very much because there are confidentiality concerns with something this big, but I think it is safe to say that you will want to watch Idol next week.

If you want to catch a preview, then come to Seacoast Greenville this Sunday at 9:30 or 11:00! :)

I saw Chris on American Idol tonight as I was waiting for "House" to come on. He did outstanding, and although I've never watched American Idol in the past, I'll be glued to Idol this season as long as he's on the show. Chris and I were friends as teenagers (I was a member of his grandfather's church for 10 years) and I know he has tremendous talent to showcase. Good luck Mr. Sligh! I guess those teenage days crooning out the Boys 2 Men love ballads is paying off.
